As a Financial Consultant, you'll be a crucial force in optimizing our accounting solution, leveraging your expertise to transform complex financial requirements into powerful Odoo functionalities. You'll be responsible for analyzing accounting processes and identifying opportunities for improvement within our software. Your mission is to ensure Odoo's financial capabilities perfectly align with clients' diverse business goals and empower them to achieve digital transformation and greater efficiency in their financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing accounting processes to identify potential improvements within our software (Odoo's financial solution)
- Analyzing client data and implementing Odoo accounting module
- Collaborating with internal teams in developing inhouse financial modules and products
- Identifying gaps between client needs/market requirements and the current functionality of our accounting solution
- Conducting training sessions to onboard clients on effectively using our financial solutions
Must Have
- 1-2 years of professional experience in accounting (e.g., bookkeeping, tax consulting, etc.) with a deep understanding of accounting processes
- Strong analytical skills to systematically analyze business processes and understand complex financial data
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English
- Affinity for IT and enjoyment of working with modern software
- Assertiveness, proactivity and patience
- Effective collaboration with teams and clients
- Experience with other accounting software/ERP solutions (AB Soft, MIS, Navision, SAP, Pantheon, TimCode, etc)
Nice to have
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a comparable qualification
- Experience with Odoo platform software
- Experience with Business Process Management in a financial context
- Skills in Data modeling and Database concepts relevant to financial systems
- Certification in a specific financial domain or industry (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)
- Working experience in Bookkeeping agencies or Consulting firms (accounting audit and advisory)
